Marttakahvio – Wooden restaurant building

Marttakahvio is a summer cafe operating in Joensuu’s market square. Marttakahvio is known for cheerful service and oven-fresh pastries.

The new restaurant building for Marttakahvio is at the moment under construction and it should be completed during May 2023. The main material of the new modular restaurant building is CLT. Also charred wood made by Hiil Ltd. has been used in the

The second international Drivers for Wood Construction event will be held in Joensuu 15.-16.5.2023 with the theme Holistic Approach Towards Sustainable Wood Construction.
